In this sense, the black swan represents a Divine messenger, rebirth, profound transformation, embracing the unknown, inner power, personal growth and creativity.
Considered an omen among various cultures, the black swan is known for its rarity and uniqueness, or in other words, individuality as used in the context of this song. To “fly above the rain” (authority, society), “fly for tomorrow” (one’s own future and potential), and to “fly and be free” (express the original, authentic and inspiring Nature of your true “SELF”).
